CSIA Data Integrity Summit – The Legal Implications of Data Integrity
Washington, DC

Safeguarding the integrity of electronic data against unauthorized alteration or destruction is increasingly becoming a business imperative; demonstrating that such alteration and destruction has not occurred could make the difference between prevailing or not in a legal or regulatory dispute. Could your company withstand a data integrity challenge in the midst of a legal dispute? Legal, forensic, IT security and business experts will address these and several other questions in a unique setting. You are cordially invited to take part in this discussion as we take on the "next big elephant" inside the boardroom that could fundamentally affect a company's credibility.

This Data Integrity Summit — targeting corporate executives, inside counsel and law firms — will focus on the legal implications of IT security with a mixture of keynote presentations, panels and a mock trial. John Podesta, former Chief of Staff for President Clinton and current CEO of the Center for American Progress will offer a morning keynote address. Randy Kahn, author of Information Nation, will define data integrity and discuss its importance inside the organization. The afternoon will present a "mock" examination of an expert witness to demonstrate the applicability of data integrity to typical business litigation scenario.
